The Findjodi.com website continues to be active and gaining exposure on the national level.

Gary Peterson was recently invited to attend the Advanced Forensics Course at the New York City Medical Examiner's Office. The week long event was intensive as attendees explored the various sciences of forensics, including DNA, blood spatter, anthropology, fingerprinting and advanced crime scene investigation. To this day, the New York City Medical Examiner's Office is the lead agency on identifying remains from the WTC Mass Fatality incident and they continue to work to identify all remains.

At one of the evening sessions students were allowed an opportunity to present case studies on subjects that are unusual or are considered a cold case. Gary presented the Jodi Huisentruit Case and spoke for more than an hour to an audience if investigators, medical examiners and instructors.

There were many questions asked about the case and the evidence. The conclusions were very similar to information Josh and Gary have compiled. A couple of the organizations indicated they would like to have a private presentation about the case at a future date in their jurisdictions.

Gary receive certificate from the New York City Medical Examiner's and says it truly is an honor to be working with the best of the best.
