19 years and still no answers!!!  I am hopeful that the case will be solved within a few years. I keep picturing this in my mind: Breaking news, missing TV anchor Jodi Huisentruit's body found, with live national coverage and press conference. I would like the person who abducted her to send anonymously, either through this website, or the Mason City Police, the location of where her body is located, in the name of closure. At least her family would have that much.

    I also would like to have a cold case unit work on the case. Often times a new set of eyes uncover information or evidence that original investigators missed or overlooked. One thing that I believe needs to be done is to execute an extensive search of properties that a certain individual owned at the time. Luminal tests, digging and sifting of soil, etc. Also, extensive searches of bodies of water and wooded areas in and around Cerro Gordo county, and NE Iowa.
