KAAL-TV, Gary Peterson and Josh Benson were nominated for
an Emmy Award for their work on The Huisentruit File under
the category for Best Investigative Series.
Work on the case began on April 15, 2003 and still continues
today. The series aired throughout the month of November 2004.
However, the award went to KARE-11's Cold Case series.There
