Find Jodi Huisentruit
Tribute 2

23 Years: Our call to action to Find Jodi

By Caroline Lowe · On June 27, 2018

On this 23rd anniversary of Jodi Huisentruit’s abduction, four billboards in Mason City are powerful reminders another year has gone by and Jodi is still missing.

While the billboards have kept Jodi in the spotlight, generated new leads and a lot of media attention, we must keep up the search for Jodi, even after the billboards go down.

Moving forward, there are several ways you can help us in our efforts to bring Jodi home, even if you don’t know who abducted Jodi on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV on June 27, 1995.

On this sad anniversary, take a moment to download our newest flyer and then post it somewhere in your community, or beyond. Take a photo and then post it and its location on our FindJodi Facebook page and on your social media pages.

We want to see where you’ve posted the flyers and will include those posts on the site in the future. Just use the hashtags #findjodi #huisentruit and/or #jodiflyer

And please don’t stop there.

Sign up here for The Bulletin (you can do so in the right sidebar of this page) to keep up on the latest developments in the search for Jodi.

If you’d like to donate to our non-profit FindJodi to help pay for future operations like our billboard campaign, you can donate here. The FindJodi.com, Inc. team is comprised of all volunteers. We work on her case in our own, free time and many times utilize our own expenses to keep working on the case. Any donations are of huge importance and extremely appreciated.

Most important, if you know anything about what happened to Jodi, don’t make her family and friends wait another year for answers.

You can contact the Mason City Police Department at (641) 421-3636 or contact us here at FindJodi.com. You can also remain Anonymous.

Thank you for your support.

Thank you Caroline & the entire findjodi crew. Your steadfast dedication is heartening in a world that much too often is indifferent to horrible tragedies. I pray this will be the year Jodi is found. ❤

I’ve just seen the 2018 CBS documentary about Jodi. After seeing how her so called friend, Vansice, acted, I would have thought he would’ve been too of the suspect list or at least a person of interest. The GPS on his boat needs checking forensically. I really do hope she is found for the sake of her friends, family and colleagues. God bless to you all
