One possibility of a method of disposal I have thought about: Does anyone know what day and time garbage collection was in Mason City in 1995? If you knew what company collected trash for the city then, someone could contact them for the information. If it was say Wednesday moring, that would have been enough time to get rid of the body, or even that Tuesday moring. Or, possibly whoever the abductor was, placed her in a dumpster that they knew was going to be collected right away. I am curious as to what collection companies were servicing area dumpsters at the time, and what times and days they were emptied.

In the book "Dead Air" a psychic claimed she was buried in a wooded area near a chapel and a lake. Well, there is a state park an hour away that is heavily wooded and contains a chapel and is on a large lake.

My personal feeling is that she was taken somewhere and hid for a short time and then when the person had the time they took her to their boat and put her in the lake.

I'm not from the area, so I didn't realize that it would only take about 20 minutes to get from Mason City to Clear Lake.  That would be pretty easy to get to and back in a short amount of time.

Found a small wooded area between a church on the grounds of Twin Oaks Campground called Lakeside Church and Clear Lake.  Wonder if this area was ever checked?  https://www.google.com/maps/@43.1104691,-93.4084815,959m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en
