I have made simliar comments in the past, but I really want to see this board get going again, so I thought I would post.
I'm shocked that more of these crime documentary/profile type shows don't examine Jodi's case. 20/20 did an excellent job, and I know that Unsolved Mysteries aired something about it. I, however, am stunned that more shows don't try to do something on a case that is so haunting, disturbing, and chilling.
I keep looking for ID's new series Disappeared to highlight the case, or even On the Case with Paula Zahn. We have more media venues than ever, but I'm not sure why the case doesn't receive more attention. I've mentioned it before, and I still say CBS's 48 Hours needs to profile the case. After all, Jodi disappeared while working at a CBS affiliate. I know that 48 Hours typically follows a case in a one hour format to its conclusion, but the show, this season infact, did profile the missing woman from Grand Junction, CO, and her case remains open.
Do you think:
1) Law enforcement doesn't want to publicize because they are working on something big?
2) Maybe it hurts the family to have it profiled (memories, pain, etc.)
3) No interest in the case? (which makes no sense to me).
I would love to hear everyone's thoughts... particularly Josh and Gary.
Best wishes to all!
Not trying to be pushy, but would be interested to hear what some of you think about this, if you have time to respond. Thanks!
Greg, I am not familar with the idea they "LE might be working on something big..I dont know on that issue..but the family WANTS Jodi's name out there as much as possible. About LE caring..THEY do CARE A LOT!! I have worked on Jodi's behalf as a psychic..I am on a 3 member
search team..I can tell you Mason City Police have been of help often
on our searches..both MCPD, AND the Cero Gordo County Sheriff Dept. YES THE CARE A LOT! One of my team has worked searching for Jodi since the beginning of the case in 1995..I entered the case in 2000, and the 3rd member the same year. We do have the respect of LE in Mason City, simply because we never give up, and we wont till she is found!!
First, thanks for responding. I really appreciate it. I'm so glad to hear that you have had good experiences working with LE, and I'm sure they do care more than a lot of us realize. I'm sure working on a case year-after-year becomes personal.
Also, I so respect your work as a psychic. I am glad you are using your talents to help in any way you can. If you get a chance, and have the time, I'd love to talk to you more via e-mail.
By the way, I sent you an e-mail message through the site. I don't have any info or insight into this case, but wanted to learn more about your gifts.
Thanks again, Karenza!
Greg, Thanks for your kind words..I did receive your message and will respond in just a few minutes..I know when the other team members read your post they will appreciate it also..Thanks again..Karenza
Good Article Josh..
I agree we need as much media attention as we can get to keep Jodi's
case in the public eye..I shall keep searching, and never give up..lets hope that Robbie Thomas has some clues to follow. I shall
keep him in my prayers!!
Hats off to you and Gary..I am sure there are things that both of you have done for this case that we have never heard about, and paid for it out of your own pockets!
God bless the both of you!!
There are no real "psychics"! They are just guessing.
Robbie Thomas is not psychic. I believe you have come to realize that after he did his show last Friday. He had nothing to offer! Isn't that proof that he is a fraud and only wants fame and money?
Sorry, I can not help solve this case. It won't be until someone involved in this crime squeals!
