In following the tweets on Find Jodi on Twitter, it just occured to me how odd it is that JVS arrived at the Key apts at 9:00 telling police that he was the last person to see Jodi.  I don't remember how much we know about this, but what reason did he give for showing up at the Key apts?  I guess I will refer to the book, Dead Air.

He was there, if I remember correctly, because he wanted to confirm plans that they had made.  Of course, this was strange since she would have always been at work at that time.  My personal belief is that he showed up to involve himself in the investigation.  He wanted to know what the police knew/had figured out.

Agree with Retro again! I read somewhere that it's part of the behavior of people like that to insert themselves into the investigation early, to garner attention for themselves and, probably, to gauge what the police and other investigators have gleaned from the crime scene. 

Don't many arsonists like to watch the fires they set?
