The key to Jodi's Mazda Miata was very slightly bent, as evidenced in the photo below.

A common belief is the key became bent from the force of the abduction as Jodi had it in the driver's side door lock.

As you can see, it was also found apart from any other keys. This could be a result of the force of the abduction as well, or - being as Jodi recently acquired the car - it may not have been on a ring on the rest of her keys to begin with.

It's not known what items have been subjected to forensic testing.
