There are plenty of theories about what happened to Jodi Huisentruit on June 27, 1995 as she was leaving her apartment in Mason City, Iowa.
One of those theories deals with a prisoner on death row who is set to be executed tomorrow (Friday July 17, 2020).
Dustin Honken is a federal inmate in Indiana. Some believe that Honken may have been involved in Jodi’s disappearance, or at least may have some knowledge of what happened to her.
Over the years, the FindJodi team has spent significant time investigating this theory. This episode covers what we’ve been able to learn about it.

It’s hard to believe a woman who would assist the kidnapping and killing of two adults and two innocent children would “be happy” you are still working on finding the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Jodi. They are looking to save their lives not those they took.
Good point.
For him, since he is a known entity and so is his girlfriend, they probably have cell phone pings records and things like that from those cases. It seems to me that they would probably be able to find where they were the day of her disappearance? If the girlfriend had already moved positions, that might be available? The fact that investigators would have had to build an extensive case for convicting him, could that information be accessed now and cross-checked?
It seems like crossing him off the list might help and information to do that might be public record.
