An idea: "48 Hours Mysteries"

Hey all,

I had my television on "ID" (Investigation Discovery) channel today while I was doing some work around the house. Reruns of "48 Hours" were featured, and it occurred to me: I don't think CBS's "48 Hours" has ever profiled Jodi's case. Since KIMT is a CBS affilaite, I would think CBS might be especially interested in the case. I know it's rare, but I have seen an episode or two (if I recall correctly) where CBS profiles crimes that remain unsolved/unresolved. I feel like since Jodi was a part of the extended CBS family, by virtue of working for an affiliate, maybe the network might consider profiling the case for the upcoming season. Do you guys think it's worth pitching?

Also, with the anniversary of the case coming up, maybe Mr. Walsh and the team at "America's Most Wanted" might consider running an update. I think that program has profiled Jodi's case before? (not sure)

I know some of you may have contacts in the news business, so I thought I'd put these ideas out there. I know we all want to keep Jodi's case in the spotlight.

Greg,

That's a good idea. I'm unsure about CBS - but I think we could have some luck pitching the idea to America's Most Wanted for a follow up.

I will check into it.

Thanks.
