One of the problems regarding discussion of this case is the limitations on what can be posted.
Whilst I understand the 'due to legal reasons' aspect it does make it very difficult to post some thoughts on the case.

It is a shame a suspect has never been named or even a person of interest.
Even this to me has onerous overtones.
Gee, even from this distance I have a person of interest in mind.
Even when when I have run an obscure video of my POI past female watchers they get 'bad vibes.'
But how do I post about that?
The obvious answer is I can't.
And therein lies the problem; as per my first sentence.

Thanks observer but I was thinking of POI's in a more general sense like being able to discuss suspicions and why those suspicions exist.

So, to sum up, I have a couple of hunches but they are no more than that.

I wonder if the investigators have a hunch or even someone they suspect was involved.

I agree; it is frustrating to check the site and see that nobody has posted in quite some time. Things seem to have come to an abrupt halt following all the recent speculation that was deleted for legal reasons...I personally miss the old site's archive of comments...there's bound to be tons of clues in there that could be put together. We can dwell on the negatives, but that is non-productive.

I don't know about you, but to me it sure seems as if the universe is offering up the guilty these days. God knows what's in each of our hearts and truly, we are all connected - energy transforms, and eventually what happened will be brought to light. Let's all listen to our intuition...and though we need to "play by the rules" on this site, I think a great kick start would be to have each of us who are regular visitors or guests weigh in on our personal theories - without mentioning names...just get it out of your head and put it out there. Collectively I think there's many more scenarios we could develop...

My own thought is that I sense the truth is out there hiding in plain sight...is it possible that what happened may be a closely held secret between 2 ( I don't think 1 person acted alone in this) who "knew" her? Think about the personality types who surrounded Jodi in those days - people she might have thought were her friends (other than JVS)...she was adorable and that might have been reason enough for someone to take her out of the picture. Who was threatened by her? Jodi was on her way up out of a starter market. I can tell you this, if I ever claimed her as my "best friend", NOTHING would stop me from weighing in here on this site and telling what I know or suspect - or I'd be calling Gary and Josh every day - thanking them for their devotion and helping them sort through all the speculation. Isn't that what people with good hearts and clear consciences do?

Feel free to dispute - unless there's something Gary/Josh haven't updated us on...all options are possibilities...we need to keep poking around and make someone uncomfortable. We live in a time when love and faith trump evil every day.

Here's another idea - let's all spend 5 minutes in silence in the next day or so and meditate on what might have happened...see what ideas spring forth...then post 'em here.

Jodi's abductor worked alone, it was done very quickly and the disposal of her body only took minutes. This is why there is nothing other than the parking lot scene  to go by.
