After all this time I would think bringing someone on board to look at all the evidence would help. I wonder why the Mason City Police didn't do this right away. Did they bring in the Iowa State Police? Did they look closely at other murders in the area? Was a close enough look taken at the Honken kidnaps and murders. Was the accidental death of Jodi's friend really a murder? Was he running to get his gun to defend himself? Were the phone calls to Jodi just a ruse, or distraction, for a planned kidnapping and murder because they believed Jodi was looking too closely at them and asking questions. They took their other victims to another site to kill them. Did they do the same to Jodi?
