I just re-watched the 20/20 video, paying attention to everything more closely...WW the KGAN Farm Report guy was someone Jodi kept in touch with even after she left CR...I believe WW may have helped her move from CR back to MN...I read on one of the other blogs out there that WW's wife passed away and that was something he apparently talked with Jodi about...anyway, he admits in the 20/20 video to have had continued correspondence with Jodi - writing letters to each other...from what I have seen, he subsequently became a parks commissioner...

This is copy from the Find Carrie Culberson blog:

"Jodi's disappearance and her life made lasting impressions on eastern Iowans who knew her. Before she moved to Mason City, Jodi Huisentruit developed her reporting skills at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids. Former Farm Director W W helped Jodi move to Minnesota when she left KGAN to be closer to home. It wasn't long before she moved back to Iowa to KIMT-TV in Mason City. W says he remembers a conversation with Jodi just days before her disappearance. "She had called me the week I lost my wife and talked to me and gave me sympathy and then this happens."

Jodi Huisentruit was reported missing after she didn't show up for work on June 27th in 1995. Mason City Police found personal items, including keys, on the ground where her car was parked. W lost both his wife and friend Jodi in the same month. June is a tough time of the year for him. "I just feel so bad for her family...because they were so proud of Jodi and what she accomplished and where she was going in a career."

From info in the new article on homepage here, which contains contents one of the letters, this isnt the same person you mention above...

excerpt below

"There's been a lot of questions regarding who the author is. We feel we know the identity of the person (despite the lack of an envelope or proper signature) and it is not someone named in any article or forum post on this website. We are working to find this person and he'll not be named until we do."

I also asked if this person was named in Dead Air,(the book about Jodi). I was answered in the negative. I believe your above comment containing the initials and info from another blog were read by Admin(as i believe most posts are here), thus eliminating that person from being the person who wrote these letters.
