It is really quite simple.

If you were not involved in Jodie's abduction why didn't you come forward and say 'hey, I was the guy pounding on the door and this is why.'

One of vinny's posts inspired this thought.:)

I would like to know the tone of voice of the guy pounding on the door. Did his voice sound angry, or insistent, such as a suitor who is trying to make amends after a quarrel.

Also, if the guy pounding on the door says, "Open up, Jodi, I know you're in there," he is someone who knows her very well. I am also wondering if it is the type of thing someone who she just left would say. Why else say, "I know you're in there." Do we know for a fact that she was still at Vansice's place when this happened? Maybe she was in her apartment when the pounding occurred. If she did just buy her Miata the month before, not many people would know that, particularly since she went to work at 3 a.m. Someone who knew her well would know her car was in the parking lot.

Is it possible the guy pounding on the door was the guy Jodi took to her church?

We don't know the names of either and that could fit in with the 'dark horse' puzzle in the Think thread.

For crying out loud! Her neighbor reported a man pounding on Jodi's door, not cornseed's. They were pounding on Jodi's door!
