Good morning everyone. We are approaching the anniversary of the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. In less than 24 hours another year will come and go.

I was happy to see the KIMT story on the site. It's encouraging to know that Mason City PD is still working on the case and that they do follow up on tips that they feel are pertinent.

As the months and years have gone by I find myself re visiting the files about this case and trying to sort out what I thought was important at the time and what wasn't. It's interesting to see how all of a sudden something makes sense. Now, there are details emerging that spark an interest. Some of the people that contact us have information and some have credible information. There are people out there that were never interviewed by police and still wonder why.

I am planning on calling in the assistance of several people that have offered to help. Part of the necessary staff is a sketch artist. This witness saw activity in the parking lot of the Key apartments the morning before the abduction. She believes she could work with a sketch artist and come up with a likeness of those two people.

There also is a witness who saw the car speeding out of the parking lot. We need to start comparing the make and model of car to her to try and determine who owned that car. I think this is a key element. According to the witness, Mason City police never interviewed her.

There is so much left to do but now we need to bring in people who are experts in their fields. I am asking for your help to see if we can make the year 2010 the last year this horrible crime will remain unsolved.
