While watching the video today something hit me...I've always wondered why Amy waited so long to call police or anyone for that matter to check on Jodi but now I'm wondering why she called Jodi that morning that early in the first place. Watch the video from 14 minutes in until 16 minutes. At first she states that she called Jodi at 4 then at 4:30 then again at 5:00 even more frantically. Then at about 15:15 in she states when asked why she waited so long to call police she says.. because that was just Jodi.. she would come in occasionally at 5:00-5:30 and say sorry I'm late. Which by the context I'm taking it that on those days she wasn't called at 4:00 in the morning or she would've been there by 4:30. So why was she called at 4:00 that morning? Could it be that since "normally" Jodi would be at work around 3:00 and that day someone was outside getting very impatient which would mean someone was in contact with them and would explain their extreme patience if they knew she would be eventually coming out the door.

And guess who stood to gain from Jodi being out of the picture...not saying that's the case but definately something to think about. Her body language by constantly looking to the right while talking is deceptive also.

I think that this report was made 5 years after the abduction.

Use to think about the same as what you are saying, but after watching it again after all these years I have changed my opinion. She is only human and was in no way involved in whatever happened to Jodi.

We need to consider her feelings and not point any fingers.

I totally agree, Musgrove. I personally do not believe anyone on the tv crew had anything to do with Jodi's disappearance. I don't want to go into details on my theory on the forum at this point until I have an opportunity to dig further into my research. I will say, however, that I believe previous POIs have information worth pursuing, and that I am interested in learning more about her previous boyfriends and "friends" that she may have experienced problems with prior to her disappearance.

I will continue to check in on the forum as I do my research and would appreciate any feedback by anyone on here via my email.

We will find answers, just keep the faith!

It doesn't matter how much time had passed before the show was made, facts, lies, and deceit will always remain the same. There is a very good chance no one from the station was involved including Amy but you still can't deny some of the odd behavior. My opinion is people always seem to be in a hurry to look in a different direction before completely sorting out the facts on the things that stand out the quickest.

SURFER, JANETTE...

Some time back I passed some INFO. to a friend who is a member of this forum who's name I'm going to withhold becuse my friend probably wants me to. It was in regard to AMY KUNS and MY suspicions of her.

ONE: She looked IRRILY like the face in the VISIONS I was having of the Native Amerian or Mexican American woman who I saw with a WHITE MALE back when I first started looking at this case months ago. But given that me using my gift in this manner (missing persons) was new an unformiliar there were, back then, a lot of things that I was seeing that were very questionable.

TWO: Another thing that made me think of AMY is that for a friend she seems very emotionally detached in some of that footage. Come on, if she and JODI were such friend, even after a long time of her being missing you'd think she would still be a little emotional. I mean, if she was your friend. But there was some footage were she just seems very emotionally EMPTY.

I'm not saying that she's connected to it in some way, i'm just stating my opinions and the thing that i've experienced. Once I put those this out into the world I back away and let the professionals (law) do there jobs.

I have sent my friend many ILLISTRATIONS, as I am an ARTIST, of every VISION I have ever had about this case and I'm sure she has placed them in the right hands whether they are accurate or not.

There are other reasons why I bring AMY into question but I don't think I want to mention them on this site.

i can't find anything wrong with amy kuns behavior on the videos. hopefully you wacko vision people and body language experts will never be on a jury anywhere.

the only thing that stands out about amy in the video is that she was prettier back then than any of the other women it featured.

Everyone looks at things differently, no intention here to hurt or accuse anyone. It is a matter of opinion!

Thanks Bob. I was under the impression that opinions could be shared on this site, but not names. There are a few people that are unnecessarily mentioned far too often. I also realize that it's out of frustration.

this crap about amy having something to do with jodi's disappearance has been posted by various users going back into the old forum. always for the same reasons. she was enough of a public figure in the news that using her name is plausible, but really, only with an element of truth in the statements. as i see it here, it is simply borderline defamation of character. these daffodils slandering her should find some proof, or shut up. one of the main reasons something can't be found, is from looking in the wrong place, searching through these videos for evidence. if you have no facts, be careful what you are saying. posting raunchy idiotic opinions about someone is not ok. celebrities and politicians are forced to endure it, but the average citizen is not.

also i wonder how some people consider their psychosis as being an opinion. this confounds me altogether.

boB,

Like it or not Amy is part of this case and we are not flat out accusing anyone of anything! Just pointing out what we see. You are exactly right with stating that one of the main reasons things are not figured out is because we are looking in the wrong place! Get a grip!

I have always liked Amy and have felt bad for her. As she says on the video, people have asked her why she didn't call police sooner, but if Jodi was late before, as well as Amy, why would you call police right away. I would have waited, as she did. Then send someone from the station out there to check on her. Amy is very emotional in the video, seems to be choking back tears. I can't imagine the guilt she feels for not calling police when Jodi didn't show up. Remember, too, she had to put the show together, do the writing, editing, and anchoring when Jodi didn't show up. I also give Amy a pat on the back for always commenting for news articles or broadcasts on Jodi. It shows even after all these years, she is thinking of her.

I understand surfers point though, why call Jodi at 4:00AM when she stated she frequently came in at 5:00 - 5:30 and she lived 5 minutes away from the station. It was a valid observation. He threw the question out there, maybe we thought of it maybe not. We pick at the videos and other info because that's all we have other than what was known when the police arrived.

Good question though isn't it.

There isn't that much of a contradiction between

a) needing her at the station at 4 on one occasion
b) that she was usually there on time (3? 3:30?)
c) that she was occasionally very late, which was treated leniently because she was valuable talent and, whether she had threatened to or not, a reasonable person would suspect that she was looking at a better gig -- most young broadcasters are.

Note that the Texas Cheerleader type crime is usually committed by someone obsessively concerned with one of the victim's rivals: rarely by the rival herself.

The only connection A-- could possibly have is if she also had a "stalker." But why not a creep obsessed with someone at another station?

Elsewhere people have noted that A-- said Jodi probably knew her attacker. I think this statement is insubstantial. In a typical abduction, the numbers alone would tell you that. In a puzzling crime, the mystery would make you believe that. That statement, I am convinced, was speculative. Not an unreasonable speculation, but not something to pore over either.

If Jodi was habitually late it does seem a strange trait for someone who was career driven.
Is is also strange that her boss was unaware of this poor discipline.

Is there any evidence that Jodi was a poor time keeper or is it an urban myth?

I would have thought that Amy wouldn't have been scared to pass on her theory on Jodi's abduction to the investigators.

In my opinion the people were slow out of the blocks with regard to checking on why Jodi never made it too the station that morning.
I'm not suggesting there was anything sinister in this.

I will say this though. In all my working life, wherever I have been, there is always 'office politics, gossip and rumors and of course back stabbing.' On top of that there as those looking for promotion and titles like 'manager.'

I have always found it amazing that the staff at Jodi's work place knew so little about anything.
Especially when they were in the business of gathering news.

Do as I did. Take Beth's book, read and take notes at the same time, then, write a synopsis of what you wrote. You will find one name that is almost on every page of Beth's book. Find the chapter about "Purple Rage". This should give you some clues as  to who was after  Jodi and why.
