In this 14 year old cold case there are bits of information that are guarded as closely as the Crown Jewels.
During her abduction a witness claims Jodi called out a name. A select few know the name including some here.
Nobody is willing to disclose the name.
It's almost like 'I've got a secret.'
The name has been of no use in solving this case. Why does the name have to be kept secret?

There have been many rumors of what that name is but it's far from being a secret. I believe it's been brought up before. The name that rings the bell so to speak is [b]Regan[/b]. I would be very careful for those of you that put two & two together about posting a last name however for legal purposes but that's just my advice. I think it's a fair topic for discussion if handled properly and if not hopefully my post is deleted if others don't share the same opinion.

Surfer, I thought I was the only one suspicious of the guy you mentioned. The interview 2 years ago and the other matter that came to light the same day raised a red flag for me. The other things he does also makes me wonder. His past is also troubling.

Check the My Space for Jodi Huisentruit. You might find some familiar names posting there.

Surfer, in your post you mention the name "regan" as to what Jodi yelled out that morning. Can you say where you are getting that information? Do you consider it authentic or is it just "hearsay".
I know there are legal reasons why some posts were deleted, but I need to draw an obvious comparison as carefully as I can.
If someone heard the name "Regan" through an open window that morning, and they were probably still half asleep, as well as Jodi's screaming/yelling making it difficult to perfectly understand the vowels and consonants of the actual "name"...
Is Regan pronounced : ray - ?
Is the last name of another person in question pronounced : ray - ?
I would think it would be difficult to ascertain whether a person visited Mason City in summer of 1995 if there isn't a record of any kind - no receipts that would prove it.

Two things:
I never saw any names that mean't much to me at My Space. But then I can be a tad slow.:blink:
I thought we had a name but it appears we don't. And the name is still a secret!
LE know the name, a few people here know the name and the witness and everyone the witness has told know the name.
Would Jodi call out a name that mean't nothing?
Why hasn't the 'name' led to a person of interest being (you guessed it) [b]named[/b]!
Was the palm print ever compared to that of the 'name.'
It's a strange old case this one.

what I was talking about.

I have visited 'my space' a couple of times and looked at Jodi's thread.
The only thing I saw of any note was a couple of posts by some dude by the name of Regan.
In this thread it is claimed that wasn't the name she called out.

That is right. Because someone mentioned that name I referred to it so they could note the comments that were made on that sight. Some comments on that MySpace seemed unusual like some of the people were buddy buddy when infact they were not.
One man in there was arrested for stalking a couple of women.
June 2007 post just seemed unusually friendly considering.
If in fact the name that Jodi called out was right then LE may have missed the boat. They just weren't diligent enought in interview the witness. They were more worried about what may or may not hold up in court instead of getting their man. I think they should revisit this information and the witness and then concentrate on finding clues that will lead them to the person responsible. Then work on building the case against that person or persons. Lets find out who did this before they die of old age!!! And find out where she is.

Oh good gawd. Enough with the "secrecy". Is there a name or not.
At this point there are not any real legal ramifications upon this site. Anyone that states a name is still 'hearsay'.

Possible person of interest to rule out. Rumors have included these people and also Jack Decoster. Just trowing out some ideas to stir the pot so to speak.

What info do you have on this person? Ive never heard his name mentioned here before, and I would like to research him as much as i can.

when the psychic lady on the radio show asked if there was any person with a position of power to come into light, possibly a few years after jodi went missing, this dude came to mind. looks like a nice enough fellow. i wonder how close they were, is all.
is he the church dude? what does he possibly know? questions like that. it takes all kinds, in this world. leave no stone unturned.
